Construction has begun on the first phase of the Discovery Park project at Brookhaven National Laboratory.
The new 75,000-square-foot Science and User Support Center, which will serve as a welcome center for guests, researchers and facility users arriving at the lab, is the first piece of the planned 60-acre project.
